I was an engineer in the office furniture industry for 15 years. Finally needed a change, so we started Treads & Sleds! Seven years later we are going strong.
I raced the off-road enduro series here in Michigan for 15 years. I raced several national level events in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and even Tennesee. Single-track offroad is the best. You should try it!
ACCOMPLISHMENTS I AM PROUD OF:
1. Making Treads & Sleds a great dealership for our customers. 2. Having a great family! 3. A college degree (all physics majors don't watch Star Trek). 4. Getting a couple wins in the Vet A class at the AMA enduro series in Michigan.
MY HOBBIES:
Off-road motorcycling, group street riding, camping, snowmobiling - just about anything that burns fossil fuels. I love to ride these things!

Fixing my first bike, a Honda XL100 with my dad when I was 8. Hiking the first few hundred miles of the Appalatian Trail and numberous trips in Colorado.

Most of my training is hands on. I have been playing around with motorcycles for over 30 years. I spent 8 months in 2001 working at a friends british bike shop and I have been working on my own bikes and friends bikes for years.

Married to the same woman for 22 years. Raising 2 great kids ages 21 and 17. Putting together several bikes over the years. One of these won the chopper class at a Grand Rapids bike show in 1992.
